The Osun State Government has stated that Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration didn't construct the dilapidated road located at Mukoro.

According to the state, the road, attributed to Adeleke by a national newspaper, was actually constructed by the immediate past administration of former Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

"We attached the GPS coordinates of the said road for fact check and verification through Google search," the state said in a statement signed by Engr Bashiru Bello, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Osun State.

The state said the road initiated by the Adeleke administration has not reached the level of lane marking shown in the published road.

"The publication is therefore simply fake news.

"The Adeleke administration has been doing a lot of remediation and corrective work on several projects inherited from the Oyetola administration. The attempt of Osun APC to push its defects on the Adeleke government is therefore deceitful.

"We urge members of the public to fact-check to verify the fact that the said road was constructed by the Oyetola administration," the state said.
