The relationship between Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State and Dele Momodu, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is public knowledge and admired by many.

Both men have been seen on several occasions working towards achieving mutual goals.

They have been spotted making local and foreign trips as they continue strengthening the friendship they have built over the years.

Another connection between the two politicians is Sophia Momodu.

Sophia, a niece to Dele Momodu, has a child with popular singer Davido, who is Governor Adeleke's nephew.

The nature of their relationship is one of mutual respect as demonstrated in a recent video of Governor Adeleke prostrating to Momodu.

In the viral video, the Governor performed a traditional gesture signifying respect for an elder.

Momodu captioned the video he shared on his Instagram page: "At the pre-birthday dinner for The Governor of Osun State, His Excellency ADEMOLA ADELEKE in Osogbo..."

Checks by MyNigeria.com indicate that Momodu is 63 years old, while Adeleke is a year older. The latter celebrates his birthday on Monday, May 13 (today).

The video has since sparked mixed reactions on social media.
