Osun Commissioner's home attacked, properties vandalised

The Erinmo Ijesa home of Nathaniel Agunbiade, the Osun Commissioner for Lands and Physically Planning was attacked in the early hours of Monday.

According to eyewitnesses, the attack was perpetrated by hoodlums suspected to be political thugs.

The thugs who embarked on the destruction of properties including cars belonging to the Commissioner also injured several aides who attempted to register them.

Witnesses also stated that the attack may have been motivated by the Saturday victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Osun gubernatorial election.

However, the Osun Command Police spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola has stated that the command is not aware of the incident
