Galatasaray forward, Victor Osimhen will be fully ready for his side’s fixtures against Liverpool and Besiktas, respectively, according to reports.
This was disclosed by Galatasaray reporter, Yakup Çınar, as he provided the latest update on the striker on the Yeni Açık YouTube channel.
Osimhen, who has been instrumental to the Turkish side since he joined last season, is currently out with an ankle injury he sustained while playing for Nigeria against Rwanda in the FIFA World Cup qualifier earlier this month.
He was absent as Eintracht Frankfurt thrashed them in their Champions League opening game on Thursday, September 18.
“Osimhen’s chances of playing in the Konyaspor match are out of the question,” Çınar said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“He is expected to get some playing time in the Alanyaspor match and be fully ready for the Liverpool and Beşiktaş matches.
“His condition is not serious, but they don’t want to risk it.”
Galatasaray will face Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday, 30 September and Besiktas on October 4.
