Osimhen wants Napoli to sustain momentum ahead new Serie A season

Victor Osimhen is delighted with SS Napoli pre season form and want the players to sustain the momentum going into the new campaign.

Osimhen scored twice as the Azzurris secured a emphatic 3-0 victory over German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

The Nigerian gave Napoli the lead in the second half of the game when he drilled a shot into bottom corner from the edge of the area.

Adam Ounas set the forward up for his second of the game moments later. Ounas made delightful pass to Osimhen who turned and fired a low drive into the bottom corner again.

Zinedine Machach wrapped up the scoring for Napoli with a spectacular curler from the edge of the area to seal the victory.

Reacting to the result, a delighted Osimhen hailed the team and urged everyone to keep the momentum.

“We Continue To Build On The Momentum”, he wrote on his verified Twitter account on Saturday night.

The 23-year-old has now scored seven goals for Napoli so far in the pre season. He finished his debut campaign in Italy with ten goals.
