Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen remains the most valuable player in the Turkish Süper Lig, according to the latest Transfermarkt update, despite a notable drop in his own market value this year.
In this piece, MyNigeria Sports looks at the top five most valuable players in Turkey from Victor Osimhen to Mohammed Salah.
1. Victor Osimhen — €65 million
The Galatasaray talisman tops the list, even after his valuation fell from €75 million to €65 million, his lowest figure in four years.
Osimhen was valued as high as €120 million during his time at Napoli, but his price has steadily declined since his move to Turkey.
Despite this, he remains well clear of the chasing pack and has made a strong start to the season, with six goals and two assists in four league appearances.
2. Rafael Leão — €50 million
The Portuguese winger joined Galatasaray from AC Milan this summer in a big-money move, instantly becoming one of the Süper Lig's most recognisable names and strengthening an already star-studded squad alongside Osimhen.
3. Mason Greenwood — €40 million
The Englishman completed a €39 million move to Fenerbahçe from Marseille, becoming one of the club's most expensive signings in history and giving the Yellow Canaries a genuine marquee attacking talent.
4. Dušan Vlahović — €35 million
The Serbian striker left Juventus for Turkey in the summer, bringing another proven European goalscorer to the division and cementing his place among the league's most valuable assets.
5. Mohamed Salah — €22 million
The Egyptian international completed a shock move to Trabzonspor from Liverpool after nine remarkable years at Anfield, giving the Black Sea club one of the most recognisable names in world football.
