Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly persuading Napoli midfielder Frank Anguissa to join the Turkish Super Lig giants in the near future.

Galatasaray reporter Ali Naci Küçük made this disclosure on the SkySpor YouTube channel.

The Yellow and Reds are looking to bolster their midfield in the January transfer window, and the Cameroonian international is one of the players on the club’s radar.

Galatasaray’s archrivals Fenerbahçe are also reportedly interested in the signature of the 29-year-old.

“Osimhen told Anguissa, ‘If such a situation arises, make your decision in favour of Galatasaray,’” Küçük said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

“I haven’t regretted it for a minute. Don’t even think about it — Galatasaray is very big, come,” he added.

Osimhen and Anguissa previously featured prominently during Napoli’s Serie A title-winning campaign in the 2022/23 season.
