Victor Osimhen has reportedly committed his future to Galatasaray after informing the club of his desire to extend his stay in Istanbul.

The 26-year-old's future has become a major topic of discussion this summer, as he is expected to leave Napoli on a permanent deal in the current transfer window.

The former African Footballer of the Year has been linked with a move to some of the big clubs in Europe, including those in the Premier League and Serie A.

Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal entered the fray to lure the Super Eagles striker with several lucrative offers, but Osimhen reportedly rejected all the offers, insisting on staying in Europe.

According to reports from Italy, Osimhen has opted to continue at Galatasaray and has informed the club of his decision.

“Osi has chosen the Gal,” CDS report claims.

“Osimhen wants to stay in Istanbul and has communicated his decision to Galatasaray, who are now looking for an agreement with Aurelio de Laurentiis. But Napoli will not discount the clause: they want €75million.”

Victor Osimhen had a stellar campaign with Galatasaray after joining the club on a season long-loan.

He netted a remarkable 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds.
