Adams Oshiomhole has appealed the ruling which suspended him as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday ruled that Oshiomhole should stop parading himself as the APC chairman.

Justice Danlami Senchi had ruled following an application of interlocutory injunction filed seeking Oshiomhole's removal.

The ruling also faulted the decision of the party to keep Oshiomhole as chairman after he was suspended by the state chapter of the party.

Challenging the ruling, Oshiomhole proceeded to the court of appeal to seek a stay of execution of the judgement.

Meanwhile, MyNigeria.com reported that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has mocked the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, over the court ruling which suspended Oshiomhole.

The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, described the ruling by the Federal High Court as a sign that the APC is fizzling out.

He tweeted: "@A_Oshiomhole has been demobilised from factional National Chairman to suspended National Chairman.

“This @OfficialAPCNg has attained a frighteningly fizzled mode.”
