Only foolish girls marry a man in extreme poverty - Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has said that it is only a foolish girl that will marry someone in extreme poverty.

In a Facebook post, Reno Omokri advised men to only get married when they have enough space to accommodate another person.

According to him, failure to heed the advice might lead to crisis in the marriage.

"Dear men, A girl who marries you while you are suffering is not a ‘good’ girl. Only foolish girls marry you while you are in extreme poverty.

"Truly good girls will work with you to fight poverty before marrying you and bringing children into the world. It is hard to escape poverty if you marry during times of extreme poverty.

"Marriage is like a boat. You only invite someone to join you in your boat when you have enough space. If you don’t have enough space and you invite a woman to join you in your boat, both of you may sink.

"Get a larger boat, that can contain two or more people, before you marry!", he wrote.
