Ondo records three new COVID-19 cases, two deaths

The Ondo State Government has recorded three new COVID-19 cases and won't deaths, according to the government's statement.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu made the announcement on his official Twitter account on Monday, stating that the dead persons are out of the three new cases.

He added that the third patient is currently receiving treatment in the state.

The total number of fatalities resulting from the deadly virus in the state has increased to a total of four, according to the statement.

"Today, we recorded three new cases and an unprecedented number of deaths from #COVID19Nigeria in Ondo State. Two of the new cases passed on at UNIMED in Ondo town this morning. The third case is currently at the IDH in Akure undergoing treatment," he tweeted.

From the governor's statement, there are now a total of 28 recorded cases in the state, twenty recoveries, four deaths and four active cases.
