Old video of girls rudely speaking to Tinubu over Lekki Toll Gate massacre resurfaces

An old video of some girls rudely speaking to Bola Tinubu following the massacre that occurred at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos has resurfaced.

Recall that Nigerians had hit the streets to protest over the police brutality that was happening across the country.

However, on October 20, 2020, there were reports of some youth brutally shot by soldiers during the EndSARS protest at the Lekki Toll Gate.

This raised concerns among Nigerians as to who gave the military the order to shoot and kill protesters.

Amid the chaos and shock, a video emerged of some girls who placed a phone call to Bola Tinubu to enquire about the Lekki massacre.

Years later, as Bola Tinubu became the President of Nigeria, the video has resurfaced, with mixed reactions.

Some social media users described the girls as rude and disrespectful who missed the opportunity to have a civil dialogue with Tinubu.

Others asked if indeed people were killed during the protest as reported.

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has received praises for his demeanor and the way he handled the conversation, despite their lack of decorum.

Many believed he exhibited patience and calmness; one which needs to be studied.
