Okowa lauds deputy, heap praises on him

Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has congratulated his Deputy, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, on his conferment of the Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Award, which was bestowed on the Deputy Governor by Daily Independent Newspapers.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Olisa Ifeajika, Governor Okowa recalled the Deputy Governor's contribution to the restoration of peace in the Niger Delta.

"Your role as the Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Delta State Advocacy Committee Against Oil Facilities Vandalism, saved our country from incurring huge revenue losses when you helped to resolve the crisis with the agitators,” Okowa said.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Olisa Ifeajika, Governor Okowa recalled the Deputy Governor's contribution to the restoration of peace in the Niger Delta.
