Ojediran becomes Transcorp Hotels CFO

Oluwatobiloba Ojediran has been appointed as the substantive Chief Financial Officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc.

She would be replacing Adekunle Elumaro according to the notice filed by the firm to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Mrs. Oluwatobiloba Ojediran earned a second-class upper degree (BSc) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos, Akoka. With over a decade of professional experience, Mrs. Ojediran started her professional career at KPMG Professional Services, one of the internationally acclaimed professional firms, where she provided accounting, audit and advisory services to clients.

She subsequently worked at Intercontinental Hotel, as Finance Manager, gaining financial and operational experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Transcorp Hotels Plc, Mrs. Ojediran returned to professional practice with KPMG Professional Services where she consulted as a Financial Auditor under the Growth and Employment (GEM), a World Bank-funded project being implemented by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and investment.

She has professional skills in financial and corporate reporting, budgeting, audit and investigation, IFRS advisory, financial modelling, and project management. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a level 2 candidate of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.

Transcorp Hotels Plc was incorporated on the 12th of July, 1994 in Nigeria. Since 1994, the company has undergone a number of notable changes and attained some major milestone achievements.
