Ogun multiple accident claims three lives

Three persons have been confirmed in a multiple accident which occured along Quarry Road , Agbeloba, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The accident according to Ogun TRACE occured on Tuesday afternoon.

Eyewitnesses revealed that the accident occured when a green Ford car with registration number: LND 543 FB on high speed car hit some cars before getting to the roundabout.

They also disclosed that the vehicle rammed across the bar at the junction before killing the victims.

"Seven persons were involved in the accident; five males and two females out of which three persons died on the spot while others were taken to Alpha Hospital."

It was gathered that at the hospital, they were rejected before they were admitted to Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba.

The victims were assisted to hospital by good Samaritans when they discovered that the driver has taken to his heels and was no where to be found.

Meanwhile, personnel of the Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ibara Division, TRACE Ogun State and the Nigerian Police were in ground to control the situation.

It was gathered that angry onlookers attempted to destroy the car but officers on ground were able to arrest the situation and there was free flow of vehicular movement.
