Ogbomoso-based chef, Temitope Adebayo, has announced his plans to undertake a 140-hour cook-a-thon, aiming to break the record set by Chef Hilda Baci, who completed a 100-hour cook-a-thon and Chef Dammy who is currently on course to achieve her set 120-hour cook-a-thon target.

Adebayo shared screenshots of his registration to the Guinness World Record and a verification email he had received.

The screenshots revealed that his 140-hour cook-a-thon is scheduled for the 1st of November 2023 in Ibadan, Oyo state.

Adebayo expressed his excitement and readiness for the challenge ahead, stating that he is confident in his ability to complete the cook-a-thon successfully.

The chef has been preparing for months, working on his endurance and stamina to ensure that he is fit for the challenge.

The challenge is coming on the heels of the 100 hours Guinness World Record cook-a-thon embarked on by Chef Hilda Baci in May, 2023 and the 120 hours cook-a-thon by Damilola Adeparusi aka Chef Dammy, a 300 level Mass Communication student of the Federal University, Oye, Oye-Ekiti, Osun State.
