Supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, popularly known as Obidients stormed the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to drum support for their candidate.

This comes as the court is set to deliver judgement on the petition by the opposition parties who are challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu.

The opposition parties include, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

Obi had filed a petition challenging the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the February 25 presidential election alleging that the electoral process was flawed with malpractices.

Atiku on his part claims Tinubu was not qualified to run for president because he was a citizen of Guinea and allegedly did not have the required academic credentials.

As the judgment is underway, a group of Obidients have been spotted dancing and chanting Peter Obi's name outside the Appeal Court.

The supporters are optimistic that the election will go in favour of their preferred candidate Peter Obi and their mandate will be reclaimed.
