Supporters of Labur Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi joined former aide Reno Omokri, to protest against the Independent National Electoral Commission declaration of results.

The protest occurred on Thursday, March 9, at the Nigerian Embassy in London.

Recall that the INEC declared Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress winner and president-elect of the just concluded polls.

Following the announcement on March 1, several Nigerians and opposition parties disapproved of the results with claims of illegality, rigging, lack of transparency. failure of the electoral commission to upload the results onto the BVAS and then sent to the iREV in real time among other reasons.

As a result of these, some Nigerians abroad took to the streets to protest the irregularities of the electoral body.

The protesters were seen holding placards and chanting "all we are saying give us free polls".

Some of the inscription on the placards include;

"Mahmood you are not God."

"Sunak its is too soon to congratulate."

"INEC gave us selection not election."
