OGersh, a major supporter of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, declared his support by climbing the tallest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro to plant the party's flag at the Uhuru peak in Tanzania.

The man made it to the highest point in Africa having spent 10 and a half hours climbing the mountain.

OGersh took to his social media page to share a picture of himself at the Uhuru peak next to the Labour Party flag on Tuesday, October 25.

According to him, planting the party flag at the highest point was a way to announce the coming of a new Nigeria ahead of the 2023 election.

He wrote; “On Fri, 20/10/2022 after 10½ hrs of climbing, hiking and trekking, I made it to the Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, 5,895m above sea level.

"There is no better place to announce the coming of a New Nigeria than the rooftop of Africa.”
