Obi to address world press conference today

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party is scheduled to host an international press conference today, November 6.

This was made public on Monday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Obiora Ifoh.

The statement read, “His Excellency Peter Obi will address a World Press Conference scheduled for 2 pm today at Campaign Headquarters.”

This will be the first press conference of the former Anambra governor following his defeat at the Supreme Court.

The development is also coming one week after his campaign spokesman, Yunusa Tanko denied Obi had gone into hiding following the apex court judgement as being speculated, The Punch reports.

According to Tanko, Obi was out of the country long before the court notice arrived.

He also hinted that the party presidential flag bearer will address Nigerians once he returns to the country.
