Abdul Rsheeth, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has advised former presidential candidate Peter Obi to be cautious of his spokesperson, Yunusa Tanko.

In a terse statement on X, Rasheeth warned that President Bola Tinubu can easily take advantage of him.

He wrote, "Obi should be cautious around people like Yunusa Tanko. Tinubu can easily take advantage."

Rasheeth said this amid a gale of defection from opposition parties to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is despite Obi forming a coalition with his boss, Atiku, to unseat President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Reacting, an X user, @OfficiaEdoOsasB, said, "You guys keep trash-talking against PO and his team. Is this how you guys want to go about your coalition?"

@TrulyDearest_ said, "Obi should also be cautious around his wife and kids except around Atiku and his supporters."
