OBJ is who BAT is still aspiring to become - Nigerians tackle Tolu Ogunlesi

Tolu Ogunlesi, a former aide to President Buhari, recently took a swipe at former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his boldness to write letters to any sitting president.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, the media communicator claims Obasanjo was fond of harassing and undermining Tinubu while he was the Governor of Lagos State.

He noted that he is looking forward to reading any letter written by Obasanjo to President Bola Tinubu.

He wrote; "OBJ go collect well inside this PBAT era. He used and abused presidential authority to harass and undermine BAT as Governor of Lagos. Today that BAT is the President of Nigeria.

I'm curious to see if the General will summon the boldness for any letter-writing.

There will always be plenty people waiting to remind OBJ of what he put Lagos (and Gov BAT) through, because of needless 'politics'. And they will tell him to "kindly sit this one out" anytime he's inspired to drop a letter," he tweeted.

It has been reported that the former head of state was known for his letters to Nigerian leaders, pointing out their flaws and offering advices.

Reacting to Tolu Ogunlesi's post on social media, some Nigerians have taken to his comment section to slam him over his attacks on Obasanjo.
