'Number of assaulted voters in this election is heartbreaking' - Twitter influencer

A Twitter influencer Daniel Regha has added his voice to the violence witnessed at the most recent governorship election which took place on Saturday, March 18.

Many experienced harassment and violence in several cities and polling stations amid heightened tensions following a disputed presidential election in the country.

Many have as a result expressed their opinions and criticized the incident's perpetrators.

Daniel Regha, a Twitter influencer joined the conversation by declaring that the number of assaults during the election was heartbreaking.

He questioned the morality of politicians and their capacity to go to sleep at night knowing full well that their selfish actions affect others.

Daniel prayed that politicians that strive to impose themselves on the public and commit numerous atrocities won't succeed in carrying out their schemes and would be visited by karma.

He wrote: "The number of voters who were assaulted cos of this elections is heartbeaking. How do these politicians sleep at night after all the atrocities they've commited; They want to gain power & lead, but by imposing themselves on the people? Is that leadership. May karma visit 'em."
