Now we are challenging a seating President; our victory shall be sweeter and their fall greater - Datti Baba

The 2023 vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has expressed confidence that the Labour Party will win the court case against President Bola Tinubu and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

In a video making rounds, Datti Baba noted that before they were challenging candidates but now they are challenging a seating president.

He added that the victory of the Labour Party will be sweeter and the fall of Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress will be greater.

Speaking at the end of the court proceeding on Tuesday, May 30, Datti Baba said;

"Before we were challenging candidates but now we are challenging a seating president. Our victory will be sweeter, and their fall will be greater. And for Nigerians change will be stronger."

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi is challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election that produced Bola Tinubu the winner as declared by the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu on March 1.

According to the aggrieved party, the general election held on February 25 lacked transparency and it was marred with irregularities.
