Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has lamented that his late mother is not around to defend herself after his twin brother, singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, revealed that he spent five months without seeing his newborn son because of actions their mother took.

In the Part 8 of an expose on the reasons why the music duo PSquare broke up, Mr P said his mother visited PSquare in Lagos around the same period his wife, Lola Omotayo, just gave birth to their son, Cameron,

He said a meeting was called and Lola was invited but told not to come with the new born child who was just months old. The singer had to tell her that their house just got fumigated, which might be too dangerous for an unborn child.

At the meeting, which had his mother, elder brothers and Jude Okoye, their brother who managed PSquare, his wife was told to leave him alone for the family.

To his shock, Jude Okoye picked up a photo of the new born child, which was beside Mr P's bed where the meeting took place, and called him a bastard in Ibo language.

This brought Lola to tears, forcing her to leave the meeting to go meet her maid who was waiting inside her car with the child despite instructions from Mr P's mother not to come with him.

According to Mr P, the incident made Lola to avoid him for five months, thereby preventing him from seeing his son.

Reacting to the expose, Rudeboy shared on X, "Unfortunately you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting Mum."
