The Africa editor for international news platform, Jonathan Rosenthal, has reacted to All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, sharing a workout video to debunk the rumors of his death.

In a Twitter post, Tinubu shared a video of himself riding on a bike whiles exercising. He noted that contrary to the claims that he is dead, he is strong, healthy and ready for the 2023 election.

He wrote;

"Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well... Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.

Reacting to Tinubu's post, Rosenthal noted that it is not a good sign in a presidential election if a candidate has to prove he is still alive.

Quoting Tinubu's workout video, he tweeted;

Oh dear, it is never a good sign in a presidential campaign when a candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive. #NigeriaDecides2023
