The newly formed African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dismissed reports of a leadership tussle within its ranks as they prepare for the 2027 polls.
The rumors were dispelled by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, in an interview on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.
“We are not aware that anybody is in court against ADC. What we have is the completion of the administrative process of changing the leadership of the ADC.
“What we have found is that people hold press conferences and make claims as well as threats.
“But in the end, they know they can’t follow the hollowness of their standing,” he said.
Recall, MyNigeria reported earlier that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has recognised the current leadership of the party with former Senate President, David Mark, acting as its National Chairman and former Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola as the National Secretary.
