Nigerians react on social media

Kolawole A Muhammad said on Facebook: "Kaduna and niger are now the headquarter of bandits....and the governor said he can't negotiate with bandits but they kill on daily basis, God have mercy on our country."

Sunny Mathias said: "By the time this clueless government leaves office, the population of the north will be reduced to 1million people or less."

John John said:"Northerners need to speak the truth so that they can be saved. Because their politicians are playing with their lives."

Joe Chukwuemeka said: "Tomorrow you will still hear the same news, only the numbers will be different. Terrorism is a normal thing in northern Nigeria."

Ty Olaitan said: "Bandits will never stop as far our leaders are giving them money na only Nigeria I see say leaders dey do business with kidnappers."

Negedu Lucky said: "My dear Sheik Gumi, says Bandits don't kill. They only kill accidentally."

Ben Elezuo Chuks said: "It is better to use the word Terrorists than Bandits. Bandits are like robbers, groups of gangs that operate against the laws of Society. Bandits do not kill; they only commit minor crimes. When a group of people kills over 18 individuals for no reason, they should be called Terrorists."

Meanwhile, Governor El-Rufai has earlier said the Kaduna state government under his watch will never negotiate with killers and kidnappers who ought to be arrested and prosecuted.

The Kaduna governor told journalists that the federal government should assist states with air and ground forces to neutralise the criminals.
