Nigerians react as Atiku returns to Nigeria after a trip to UK

A video is making rounds of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party arriving Nigeria after a trip to the United Kingdom.

Recall that Atiku was remoured to have been flown to the UK for medical check-up as a result of ill health.

However, his campaign council dismissed the reports as they said the former vice president was in the UK to discuss areas of potential future collaboration between Nigeria and the UK.

When questioned his meeting with the UK government as the general election draws near.

After spending some days in the UK, the PDP flagbearer finally arrived in Nigeria as he was received by his party chieftains and supporters.

Reacting to the video of Atiku returning to the country, some Nigerians took to social media to share their thoughts.

Revival: Is it normal that a presidential candidate traveled overseas during campaigns & couldn’t have a meeting or town hall different,,,, with the people he’s aspiring to govern… How do I explain to foreigners that a presidential candidate visited their country just to take pictures.
