Nigerians must fight as one to overcome current challenges - Tinubu

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has called on all Nigerians to come together to fight as one in other to overcome the challenges facing the country.

He said this at the 23rd-25th Combined Convocation of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) held on April 24, 2021.

The former governor of Lagos State stated that “We must all join forces against the common enemy – the bandits who are terrorising us".

Tinubu in his speech stressed the need for Nigerians to cultivate the habit of engaging in mechanised farming to boost the country's food production.

“We must produce more and more so that the future will smile on us. We must increase mechanisation of agriculture to stabilize the country. We must have the courage to identify the things government must do to stabilize the country, Tinubu added.

The former Lagos State Governor applauded the university for putting together the convocation despite the challenges with the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the country.

He encouraged graduands to always be their ultimate best, adding that their destinies were in their hands.
