'Nigerians have no right to criticize Bobrisky' - Morayo Afolabi-Brown barks

Nigerian TV personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown has stated that Nigerians have no right to criticize Bobrisky because he hasn't broken any law.

The Managing Director of Television Continental (TVC) said this while discussing the reactions that followed Bobrisky's emergence as the "Best Dressed Female" at a recent film premiere.

According to Morayo, Bobrisky is merely a transvestite and transvestism is legal in Nigeria.

She added that Bobrisky hasn't breached any state laws by simply identifying as a woman. She continued by saying that Bobrisky has a good demeanor and has never been arrested or participated in any illegal activity.

She pointed out that since it was no fault of Bobrisky's to win the award, Nigerians have no reason to be offended.

Many on social media expressed their disapproval of Morayo's remarks, saying that it would have been better if she had kept her comments to herself.
