Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo Rodriguez has launched an attach on present day churches, tagging them businesses with the aim of profiteering off innocent members.
The screen goddess cum director made this post on her Twitter page today, where she noted that churches are losing their sense of purpose.
She said, "Clearly most churches are now a business. Not interested in saving any soul or helping anyone. Just BUSINESS."

Several twitter users were in agreement on this.
A certain user, @collinsweglobe noted that repentance has stopped being a common feature in sermons.

When last you heard a pastor preaching about repentance?
"You will make it, enemy die, whoever is troubling you, your village people is this and that"
@asesajerry joked about starting a miracle center
Yes now maybe I too will join this miracle church business or what do you think?

@lekkkysmile was in total agreement with the Jombo, as he made reference to pastors who build schools with members money.
It has always been a Business, they build schools with the members money & yet 90% of d members cannot afford d school, you hardly hear sermons that'll give you nightmare just so they don't scare the ones who hand them envelopes regularly away, all they preach about is PROSPERITY
