1. The Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, has condemned the allocation of ministries by President Muhammadu Buhari, with nine ministers from the North-West.
2.The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, on Thursday, revealed why she returned to work, after questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged N3bn fraud.
3. Nigeria Police has uncovered and detonated an undisclosed number of bombs left during the 1967-1970 Biafra civil war in three states.
4. President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Nnia Nwodo, has denied allegations raised against him by the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
5. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Ade Ipaye as Deputy Chief of Staff to the President.
