A Nigerian man identified as Austin Chenge is running is running for the next governor of Michigan, United States.

The native of Benue state has called on well-wishers to pray for him as the gubernatorial race begins.

Chenge, who took to his Twitter page to make the call, said he would be addressing Michigan natives and residents in a video broadcast.

Legit.ng gathers that the 34-year-old law graduate is running under the Republican Party.

Chenge, who designed the tricycle known as “Wazobia tricycle” to improve the lives of peasant farmers all over Africa, has been serving with the United States military as a specialist since 2018.
