Following the heavy downpour in the early hours of Tuesday, June 22, the lobby of the Nigerian national assembly got flooded.

It was reported that the assembly got flooded as a result of the leaking roof.

According to reports from Lindaikejisblog, the Nigerian National Assembly was built 27 years ago.

This however delayed sitting for a few hours as cleaners took time in scooping out the water.

Lawmakers resumed sitting on Tuesday, after a one-week break to mark the end of their second legislative year.
