The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has dismissed claims that Nigeria’s problems stem from political leaders.

During a press briefing, Adeboye stated that the problems Nigeria is facing are more spiritual and that the country needs prayers.

He asserted that Nigeria is blessed with people of great intelligence and resources but still has many problems.

According to him, those in authority, such as President Bola Tinubu and his appointees, are trying their best to ensure the country improves.

However, Adeboye mentioned that it is time for Nigerians to call on God to rescue the country, as he believes only the Almighty can resolve all our problems.

He said, “It has become clearer to us that the problems our nation is facing are more than political. Our problems will require a bit of a spiritual solution.

We, as a country, are blessed with people of great intelligence, we are blessed with all manner of resources; yet we have so many problems.

It’s not that the people in authority are not trying their best; they are doing as much as humanly possible. You find out that when you have problems that are beyond human’s ability to solve them, then you call on the Almighty.

The reason we call Him the Almighty is because he has the power to solve all problems. We have been going around, in our little way to support the efforts of the Lagos government and to call on the Almighty to come to our aid because we need help.”

He was out there to walk in the streets against Jonathan. But has continued to condone the APC government since Buhari because of the affiliation his church RCCG has had with the Lagos state government and we all know who gave him that lane to trade; Tinubu.
