Nigeria is the third most corrupt country in Africa, see the full list

Corruption, which is carried out in various forms has affected the socio-economic growth of the African continent over the years.

German non-governmental organization, Transparency International released a list of the most corrupt countries in the world, under its 2020 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI).

According to the NGO, the research reveals that persistent corruption is undermining the health care systems and stifling the democratic process of the continent in the face of the pandemic.

It also states that countries that have performed well have invested properly in healthcare and are in a better position to provide global health coverage.

MyNigeria has compiled the list of Africa’s most corrupt countries according to Transparency International’s research.
