Nigeria has the greatest economy - Tinubu tells US investors

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday called on the the United States business community to invest in Nigeria's bubbling market.

Speaking at the Nasdaq Stock Market in New York, Tinubu described Nigeria as the country with the greatest economy.

He said this after attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly and accompanied to the bell ceremony by the President of the U.S.-Africa Business Center (USAfBC) at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Scott Eisner.

Tinubu rang the bell at the ceremony held at the seven-storey tower of the Nasdaq headquarters in New York, which signifies the end of a trading session.

Speaking Tinubu said; “I am happy to bring Nigeria to your doorsteps and honoured that we’re here today with a bubbling market that will evolve the West African subregion.

“The greatest economy is Nigeria. There is an immense opportunity in Nigeria that you can invest your money without fear.

“You are free to take in your money and bring out your money. I count on you to invest in Nigeria,” he noted.
