Nigeria Election: Adeleke cast his ballot in Osun

The Governor of Osun State Ademola Adeleke has cast his ballot at the Sagba/Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, Ede as the electoral process unfolds at different polling units across the country.

The Governor arrived at the polling station around 8:44 am to exercise his franchise, according to reports.

Speaking after casting his ballot, the governor commended President Mohammadu Buhari for passing the 2022 Electoral Act while calling for electoral peace.

“I commend President Muhammadu Buhari for the courage and patriotism he demonstrated by signing the bill into law. It is a landmark law.

“I call on our people to remain peaceful and eschew violence. Democracy is about thumbprinting your choice, not about killing and maiming.”
