Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Runtown, others react to Pop Smoke's killing

Following the murder of American rapper, Pop Smoke, artists such as Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Redman, The Game, Runtown, and others have reacted to the gruesome killing.

Bashar Barakah Jackson, aka Pop Smoke, was shot multiple times around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday by two masked men who broke into his residence in Hollywood Hills, Calif.

Pop Smoke was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead.

50 Cent appeared angered by the death of Pop Smoke as he tweeted, "No such thing as success without jealousy, treachery comes from those who are close. R.i.P."

Nicki Minaj posted on Instagram, she said, "The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave. Unbelievable. Rest In Peace, Pop."

The Game, an old-time friend and rap group member with 50' in G-Unit also took to Twitter to expressed his shock when he tweeted thus: "Fell asleep for 3 hours, woke up & Pop Smoke dead. That’s brazy.... 20 years old, damn."

Nigerian singer, Runtown also shared his view and sent his condolence on Twitter. He said, "Pop Smoke. Juice WRLD, XXXtentacion. Why are we losing a generation of young rappers? ????????."
