Ngeria Elections: Peter Obi leads presidential race in early result

Results trickling from some polling units in parts of Makurdi metropolis of Benue State show that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has established an early lead

According to Daily Trust correspondents at the St. Mary primary school polling units in the North Bank, Makurdi, LP polled 103 votes and the PDP's Atiku Abubakar got 3 votes while APC Bola Tinubu scored 45 votes.

Daily Trust also reported that Obi scored 42 votes, beating Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar by 16 and 6 respectively.

The LP also stretched the lead by winning the government house protocol polling unit by 139 votes while PDP scored 8 votes and APC scored 59 votes.

Similarly, at 72 barracks junction polling unit, the APC had 22 votes and LP got 96 while PDP scored 3 votes.

At the polling station of BSU second gate, LP scored 58 votes while APC had 42 and PDP polled only 2 votes.
