Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi is close to completing a move to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.
According to reports, Ndidi is expected to fly to Turkey on Thursday, August 7, to undergo medical tests ahead of his anticipated transfer to the Istanbul-based club.
Leicester City and Besiktas have reportedly agreed on a €9.5 million deal for the Super Eagles midfielder.
Despite signing a new contract with the Foxes following their promotion to the Premier League last summer, Ndidi had a €9 million relegation clause included in the agreement.
Besiktas initially submitted a €7 million bid for the 28-year-old, which was rejected by Leicester City.
Ndidi will join fellow Nigerians Victor Osimhen and Henry Onyekuru, who are currently plying their trade in the Turkish league.
