Super Eagles midfielders, Wilfred Ndidi and Ademola Lookman were in action for Leicester City as they ended a bad run of form with a victory over Watford.

Compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was on the bench.

The Foxes, who have gone 3 games without a win this season put up a strong performance to dismiss Raneiri's Watford 4-2 at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

Despite starting Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong and Emmanuel Denniss, the Hornets fell behind in the 16th minute after James Maddison capitalized on an error from William Troost-Ekong.

Watford responded and restored parity on the half-hour mark when Josh King netted from the penalty spot after Emmanuel Dennis was fouled in the box by Wilfred Ndidi.

Leicester City regained their lead thanks to a quick brace from Jamie Vardy in the 34th and 42nd minutes respectively, reports Brila.net.

Watford managed to get back into the game as Emmanuel Dennis reduced the deficit the 61st minute when Dennis pounced on an error from Timothy Castagne.

Leicester City also restored their two-goal lead in the 68th minute, when Ademola Lookman beat Watford defenders to score the fourth goal.

The victory sees Rodgers’ side end a run of three games without a win in the top flight to move up to ninth in the table, while defeat keeps Watford in 16th, four points clear of the drop zone.
