The Naira recorded three straight appreciations against the United States dollar at the official foreign exchange on Wednesday as the country’s external reserves rose to $43.11 billion as of Tuesday, 28th October 2025.
The Central Bank of Nigeria’s data showed that the Naira further strengthened on Wednesday to N 1,444.42, up from N 1,448.2050.
This means that the Naira firmed up by N3.78 on a day-to-day basis.
Meanwhile at the black market, the Naira remained flat between N1,485 and N1,495 per dollar on Wednesday, according to Bureau De Change operators in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.
The last three days the Naira has gained N13.53 when compared with the N1,457.9571 per dollar exchanged on Friday, October 24th, 2025.
The development comes as the country’s external reserves have continued to surge, reaching another peak of $43.11 on Tuesday.
