Veteran journalist and politician Reuben Abati replied in jovial fashion how he got his wife, Kikelomo Atanda-Owo.

On August 22, the on-air personality shared lovely pictures of his family on Instagram while they were on vacation in the UK.

In some of the photos, Abati and his wife are seen in a loving pose, which quickly attracted numerous comments from admirers and onlookers.

Some praised him, while others wondered how he managed to marry such a beautiful woman, despite not being wealthy.

One curious Instagram user, Mrrbrainz asked, "Dr. Abati, how did you marry this lady? No be say you even get money. So what happened?"

In response, Abati dismissed the common belief among Nigerians that a man must be wealthy to marry.

He wrote, "@mrrbrainz, All you all know is money. Na juju I use marry her"
