'Na Jagaban cause am, no be him' - Market women fight over Tinubu's subsidy removal

There has been confusion in the country following the recent hike in fuel prices.

This comes as a result of the fuel subsidy removal that took effect after President Bola Tinubu made the announcement during his inaugural speech on May 29.

Several fuel stations immediately increased their fuel pump prices in their various outlets across the country thereby, causing severe discomfort to residents.

Many expressed their displeasure at the recent increase in fuel prices.

Speaking in an interview with some market women, an argument burst out as to who was responsible for the recent hardship.

Some women tagged President Bola Tinubu, popularly known as Jagaban as the person responsible for the current situation facing the country.

Another woman disagreed, saying it was not the fault of Tinubu but the people's greed that has landed the entire country in its state.
