NFF roll out plans for Super Eagles World Cup playoffs

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has rolled out plans for the Super Eagles’ World Cup playoffs scheduled for next month.

According to the NFF, the team will open camp in Rabat on Sunday, November 9, ahead of their highly anticipated clash against Gabon on Thursday, November 13.

Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to announce his 23-man squad for the mini-tournament next week.

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will also lock horns with DR Congo in the other semifinal clash.

CAF will hold a draw to determine the venues for these two all-important matches later today, Wednesday, October 30.

The El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, both in Rabat, have been lined up to host these crucial fixtures.

The winners of the semis will face each other in the grand finale to determine which country will represent Africa in the intercontinental playoff scheduled for March 2026.
