NFF officially unveils Finidi George as Super Eagles head coach

Finidi George has been officially unveiled as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.

His unveiling follows his appointment on April 29 as the successor to Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro.

The 53-year-old was introduced at the Nigeria Football Federation secretariat in Abuja on Monday, April 13, according to Dailypost.

NFF president Ibrahim Gusau, Sports Minister John Enoh, and NFF Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi were among the dignitaries present at the ceremony.

The former Enyimba boss bid farewell to the team in an emotional message on Sunday, May 12.

Now, Finidi will embark on his tenure as the head coach of the 2023 AFCON finalists.

His first official game in charge will be against South Africa's Bafana Bafana on June 7, followed by another clash against Benin Republic a few days later.
