NFF appoints Daniel Amokachi as Technical Director

The Nigeria Football Federation - NFF, has appointed former Eagles player and Assistant Coach, Daniel Amokachi, as Head of the Nigeria Football Federation Technical Department.

Amokachi, aka The Bull, was recently given an appointment by the Federal Government of Nigeria as a football ambassador.

The former Everton of England's attacker will take over from Bitrus Bewarang in the position after the NFF announced his appointment today in Abuja.

According to Brilla, Amokachi was chosen from a list of coaches with rich knowledge including the former Chelsea FC of England and PSG FC of France Technical Director Mike Emenalo, Austin Eguavoen, Ladan Bosso, Sam Okpodu and Mutiu Adepoju.

Amokachi was part of the Nigerian team that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1994.

He worked with the late Stephen Keshi as assistant manager of the Super Eagles and also coached the home-based super Eagles to the African Championship CHAN.
