The National Association of Nigerian Students, Ghana Chapter takes center stage in the promotion of key stakeholder engagement with its Maiden Edition of Education, Health and Security Symposium.

Organised in partnership with the Nigerian High Commission, the Symposium will take place at the main Auditorium of BlueCrest College Ghana in Accra on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

The event is designed to provide a platform for interaction between key stakeholders in a bid to ignite better understanding, partnership and collaboration to ensure that Nigerian students have the best experience studying in Ghana and the prospect of their reintegration into the professional circle back home is legitimately guaranteed.

In the words of NANS-Ghana President, Sam Edem, "the Symposium marks the official beginning of a long overdue conversation that must exist between those who make the decisions on education in Abuja and their counterparts in Ghana to ensure the future of the Nigerian Students are not undermined".

Some expected stakeholder institutions that will be represented at symposium include the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), the Ghana Immigration Service, Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Ministry of Education as well as representatives of Nigerian Students from across campuses and in the country, management staff as well as the international students community in general.
